Washington Cornhuskers Membership/Donations

Join your fellow Nebraska friends and Big Red fans, by supporting the Washington Cornhuskers! With a membership of more than 200 households throughout the Puget Sound and western Washington region, we're proud to be one of the most active groups of Nebraska-backers in the nation, and a recognized Red Letter Chapter by the Nebraska Alumni Association.

By becoming a member of the Washington Cornhuskers, you'll be included in our membership directory and e-mail network to be kept apprised of all the Nebraska related activities in the Pacific Northwest. And you'll be able to attend and support the many activities that our chapter sponsors each year. This includes:

  • Our annual Spring Banquet, which brings our membership together with Nebraska athletic greats. Last years' guest speak was Tommie Frazier.
  • Many Husker sporting events in our region. In the past year we've had the opportunity to host the Nebraska Football team in the "Battle in Seattle" as well as the Nebraska Volleyball team in the regional finals.
  • Our weekly football watch parties that allow Husker fans to get together with their friends and watch the games in both north and south Puget Sound locations.
  • Radio broadcasts - to make sure all Husker football games are readily available in this area, we raise funds to sponsor these radio broadcasts on regional radio station KKNW/1150 in Bellevue. Want more info? Click HERE.
  • Our yearly conference golf tournament for our members and members of other Pacific Northwest chapters of other conference universities.
  • Bob and Ruth Paine Scholarship Fund. Our chapter sponsors 2 scholarships yearly for Pacific Northwest high-school students planning to attend the University of Nebraska. For more information on the scholarship program, how you can help, and our current recipient, click HERE.

How we use your contact information: When you use the online payment system, we ask you for "Shipping Information" so we have your current address. We do this so we can add you to our membership directory or update your current address (if you're sending us a membership payment), or possibly contact you for additional donation information (if you're donating to our Radio or Scholarship funds). We will never give or sell your contact information to a 3rd-party! All information is solely for the purpose of being contacted by the Washington Cornhuskers.

RADIO DONATION RECOGNITION LEVELS:

  • Lil' Red Booster: up to $99
  • Black Shirt: $100-$499 (your name & hometown are read on each game's broadcast)
  • Champions: $500 - $999 (same as above, plus one 30-second message promoting your favorite charity)
  • Hall of Fame: $1000 and up (same as above, but with two 30-second messages)

DONATE ANY AMOUNT If the fixed donation amounts above don't represent what you want to contribute, You can make a donation of any amount to the Washington Cornhuskers, to support our Radio and Scholarship funds. Just click the "Donate" button below, and fill in your desired amount. When you get to the "Message for the Seller" portion of the payment screens, please type a brief message indicating what allocation (i.e. "half Scholarship, half Radio" or "all Radio" or "all Scholarship" or any variation) you want your donation to be used for.
